Banding in 2020 = Distanced
In these strange times you know we are not able to rehearse like normal so we have followed the lead of Cory, the worlds number 1 brass band, to bring you a video of us playing Tony Christie’s ‘Is this the way to Amarillo?’.
Filmed entirely in the safety of our own homes these videos bring their own challenges, we have had to learn some video editing and some sound technician techniques to make sure everything works as we envisage.

This isn’t our first, we recently submitted a video of Abide With Me to Manchester City Council for their VE Day event, this was very well received. Alongside that is a rendition of the Last Post and Reveille by our cornet players Tom, Paul and Chrissy. Also the Council took Tom to Manchester City Centre and filmed a beautiful video using a drone for the Remembrance service last Friday. All of these videos are available on our YouTube and Facebook channels.
