Rochdale Contest Result

The band performed early doors at Rochdale Contest on Sunday October 23rd, we chose to play The Dark Side of the Moon by Paul Lovatt-Cooper. Having drawn number 3 we had a report time of 08:45 and was on stage by 09:30 playing for the adjudicator and the hardy individuals who turned out on a cold Sunday morning.

7 bands in total played in the 4th section, including a debut for Allerton Brass from Liverpool, being an own choice contest meant there was 7 individual pieces for everyone to listen to. Unfortunately our performance fell a little short of the expectations of the adjudicator, John Binns, and we came away with a 6th place. We received some constructive criticism and it has given us some points to work on going forward.

As always the event was brilliantly organised and ran with efficiency and professionalism and we extend our thanks to Richard Milton and his team for their efforts.

The full list of results are below and congratulations to all prize winners.
