6th Place at the NW Areas
Sunday February 26th we competed in the 4th section at the NW Areas contest at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The piece was Darrol Barry’s Hungerford Town, a lovely musical offering for this years set piece.
The band welcomed some new players in January to see us go on stage with a full compliment. It has been great to have a busy run in this week. We achieved a very commendable 6th place.
