We haven’t been idle whilst we are away from rehearsals. Every few weeks we have been trying to put together a video of us playing at home. This time we have something a little different. As banding is affected globally we reached out to our friends in Norway at Krapfoss Hornorkester to recreate a joint item from our concert in June 2019.
Little did we know when putting this together that the chosen piece would be so relevant in todays news cycle. It was a lot of fun working with the band in Norway again and as you can see in the video they are back to distanced rehearsals, something we hope we can get back to soon.
Until then please enjoy Barnard Castle performed by Krapfoss Hornorkester and the Blackley Band recorded in June 2020.
